By God's gracious gift of forgiveness through Christ, any wrong you have done is not held against you. God is eager to forgive and provides forgiveness to you through faith in Jesus Christ. It's your choice to receive it. The three types of forgiveness are: exoneration, forbearance and release. Charazomai (Strong’s G5483) is used for forgiveness unconditionally granted as in: “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Eph 4:32) Aphiemi (Strong’s G863) is used for forgiveness received which is conditional, obviously, on recognizing our need and receiving the forgiveness as in: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) 5- Faith Hebrews 11:1-6 NKJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
